Title of Study: Improving Requirements of the Performance of Educational Supervisors in Sabya Education Administration in Light of the Professional Learning Communities Framework

Abstract
The study aims at identifying the conceptual framework for professional learning communities, assessing the current performance of educational supervisors, and investigating the significant differences between the subjects participating in the study affiliated with Sabya Education Office. The descriptive approach has been used along with the questionnaire as a tool to assess the performance of educational supervisors in applying the professional learning communities framework (supportive leadership, mutual vision and values, supportive circumstances, shared professional experiences). In addition, the study explores the requirements needed for improving the performance of the educational supervisors in Sabya Education Office in the light of the professional learning communities framework. The population of study includes (5520) teachers and supervisors. However, the sample size consists of (502) teachers and supervisors representing (9.66%). The study has found the following results that the agreement scores for applying the professional learning communities framework (supportive leadership, mutual vision and values, supportive circumstances, shared professional experiences) is high. There are statistical differences between the scores of teachers’ mean versus the scores of the supervisors’ mean in the first dimension of the study (the supervisors' application for the professional learning communities in Sabya Education Office). In addition, the agreement score is high for the accumulative items of requirements needed for improving the performance of supervisors in light of the professional learning communities according to the view point of the sample of the study.
