The Effectiveness of a General Personality System and Therapy Theory Proposal-based Counseling Program in Relieving Psychological Stress among Late-Marriage Basic Education Female Teachers

The aim of the research is to verify the effectiveness of the "general theory of personality system and its therapy" proposed by Sufyan (2021) in relieving psychological stress among late marital teacher’s female. The researchers selected 45 female teachers of basic education in Taiz, between the ages of 35 and 41, who were late to the age of marriage and did not get married. the researchers prepared the psychological stress scale for the research, and the results of the application showed the suffering of 28 female teachers from psychological stress. The researchers selected 20 female teachers according to their order of severity of suffering, and they divided in a simple randomly into two experimental and control groups in each group of ten female teachers, as their score in a pre-test. The experimental group underwent the program sessions via the Internet using the Zoom program, and the control group did not undergo the program. The program included 12 group counseling sessions spread over 6 weeks, at an average of two sessions per week, and the duration of one session ranged between (60 - 90) minutes. After completing the implementation of the program, a post-test was performed with a psychological stress scale for the experimental and control groups. The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 between the experimental and control groups in the post-test in favor of the experimental group towards a decrease in the level of psychological stress. The results of the Wilcoxen test showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 between the members of the experimental group before and after the application of the program.
